Dear RCCS Families,

Now that we have become fully immersed in the new school year, I wanted to take the time to express how pleased we are that you have chosen to be a part of the Roseville Community Charter School Family! To our returning RCCS families, we are so excited that we can continue the academic journey with your children and for new RCCS families, we truly appreciate that you have selected Roseville Community Charter School as your children’s learning community!

We have a lot of exciting things in store this school year including Peer Leadership, Scholar of the Month Award Program, Safety Patrol, CHEERleaders, Jr. Coaches Playworks Program, Student Council and Monthly School Spirit Days! We are also looking for parents / guardians to serve on school committees, to become class parents and to become a member of or even an officer within the RCCS Parent Group this school year!

At Roseville Community Charter School our mission is to educate the whole child, so we are dedicated to building within our scholars, strong character, healthy social / emotional development and a strong knowledge base, in order for them to be successful in elementary school, high school, college and beyond. And by “beyond” we mean that we want our scholars to grow into caring, self-sufficient adults with a strong sense of community, able to successfully compete in a 21st century global society. This is why, in addition to the core academic subjects, we teach our scholars core values that are the cornerstone of our learning community. Collaboration, Honesty, Excellence, Effort & Respect (C.H.E.E.R). These values are modeled, taught and reinforced in all that we do!

With our team of high-quality teachers, administrators and support staff, along with our parents as part of this RCCS team, we can accomplish this worthwhile mission! J

Yours in Learning,

 Dr. Ledford
