About Us

Roseville Community Charter School’s mission is rooted in the belief that all children can learn and achieve at high levels when provided with high-quality learning experiences in a challenging and supportive environment.  We strongly believe that one’s background should not limit their access to an outstanding education that lays the foundation for admission to and success in college.  Thus, it is our daily work to prepare every scholar for academic excellence in high school, college, and beyond.

RCCS Celebrates Read Across America Week

Roseville Community Charter School celebrated ‘Read Across America Week’ from Feb. 27th through March 3rd with the week’s culminating event being the “sister” program to our annual “Kings Who Read” - Dr. MLK Jr. literacy event, known as “Queens Who Read” - Women’s History Month literacy event!
Both of these RCCS literacy initiatives are to promote within our scholars a LOVE of reading and to encourage our parents to take an active role in their children’s education! Thank you to all our “Queens” who LOVE to read for joining us today! Special shoutout to guest “Queen Readers”; Director of Policy for Senator Ruiz’ Office, Councilwoman Rev. Louise Roundtree (Central Ward), Newark Deputy Mayor Liglia DeFreitas, Maria J. Andrade, RCCS Board Pres., Caren Freyer, RCCS Board VP, and RCCS Board members: Dr. Charity Dacey, Luisa Torres, Monica Darko! 👑📚
