Our Program
RCCS offers the following features to ensure the success of every student:
Increased Support: Students are taught and supported by a certified teacher and an instructional assistant in each of our K-4 classrooms which means there are 2 adults in all of our academic classrooms. We offer targeted tutoring to all of the scholars in grades 2-4.
More Time to Learn: Students spend more time learning during an extended school day. School hours are 7:45am to 3:30pm. More time is devoted to Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
A Challenging Academic Program: We deliver a challenging and engaging curriculum that teaches students to become critical thinkers with a strong foundation in reading and math. Our grade 3 and grade 4 are departmentalized with 3 teachers each of whom focus on either ELA, Mathematics, or Science & Social Studies.
High Expectations: We believe all students can achieve academic excellence when nurtured in a supportive, engaging, and disciplined environment.
